Miccosukee Takes Rest-Stop Entertainment to Another Level with Little Trail Casino! Opening on February 14 at the Miccosukee Service Plaza

Miami, FL – February 8, 2024 – A casino at a highway rest stop? Yes, that’s precisely what the Miccosukee Tribe had in mind with the construction of Little Trail Casino at the Miccosukee Service Plaza. The grand opening of this unique gaming venue, located on I-75, exit 49 in Ochopee, Florida, is scheduled for Wednesday, February 14, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 AM. Attendees will enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and the opportunity to shop authentic Miccosukee arts & crafts from Tribal vendors.

Little Trail Casino is the latest project to launch as part of a multi-million-dollar expansion of the Miccosukee Tribe’s enterprises. Featuring 150 of the latest slot machines in a non-smoking environment with an elegant design within 8,500 square feet of entertainment space, the new casino will open daily from 8 AM to 12 AM with access to a wine and beer bar.

Since breaking ground six months ago in partnership with national architecture and engineering design firm CPH and Florida-based construction company 2 Brothers Contracting LLC, the Miccosukee Tribe is proud to offer this one-of-a-kind gaming hall where travelers, locals, and slot machine fans will have a chance to fuel up on fun and jackpots in the only rest stop on the 80-mile stretch of I-75 that connects Naples to Miami.

Little Trail Casino is the second gaming establishment owned and operated by the Miccosukee Tribe, the first being Miccosukee Casino & Resort in Miami, Florida. Brad Rhines, General Manager of the leading casino, stated, “We’re honored and excited to introduce a new casino attraction to our Service Plaza location on Alligator Alley and continue the journey of innovation and growth that truly benefits the Tribe and its stakeholders. Guests of the Little Trail Casino can expect the same cutting-edge casino experience, great guest service, and M Sphere Rewards that travel between both locations,” added Rhines.
