American Indian Day 2023

Celebrate American Indian Day with the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida on Saturday, September 23, and Sunday, September 24, at Miccosukee Casino & Resort. Presented in part by Dade Construction, admission is free and includes fun activities for the entire family.

Learn about the Miccosukee Tribe and other indigenous communities in this cultural event with food and craft vendors, alligator demonstrations, airboat rides, a Miccosukee fashion show, carnival rides, a petting zoo, and many more surprises! Check out the fireworks show lighting the sky at 8 PM on Saturday.

With live performances by World Champion Fancy Dancer Larry Yazzie & the Native Pride Dancers, and singer-songwriter Cypress Billie, we’ll kick off the festival with a free movie night on Friday, September 22 featuring films by Miccosukee actor and director Montana Cypress.
